We sat down with Fatma Al-Nabhani
During her signup, we sat down with the 23 year old tennis star from Oman for a small interview.
"I'm happy to be back, I've been playing in this tournament for a couple years now. It's one of the important tournaments for me to play in since it's in Dubai and close to home. Playing here makes me feel at home. I feel very prepared, I got good results last year and am hoping to produce equal or better results this year. My goal is to be one of the best players in the world and hopefully we can achieve that. So far, coming out of an Arabian country, what we've achieved is already a big thing and I hope that we can make it even further."
Last week, Fatma made it to the Semi-Finals in a tournament in Japan but in her whole career shes racked up four ITF titles with a current ranking of 454 and is definetly a competitor to look out for in the upcoming competition.
All in all, she feels ready for the Al Habtoor competition and is looking forward to it.
